Structural Designer - Modeler

About the role

SSOE is seeking a Structural Designer – Modeler to support semiconductor manufacturing facilities and tool installation projects. Working under the guidance of a project engineer or department manager, you will create and modify structural models, ensuring accuracy and coordination within a BIM environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sketches and notes to determine optimal drawing approaches.
• Develop structural models using Revit, maintaining data integrity and cross‑discipline coordination.
• Create and maintain AutoCAD templates, blocks, and layer standards specific to semiconductor facilities.
• Design structural modifications and tie‑in details for renovation and expansion projects.
• Perform routine designs of beams, columns, foundations, and vibration‑sensitive equipment supports.
• Conduct basic design calculations and prepare layouts for engineer review.
• Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (highly preferred) or architecture.
• At least 4 years of experience in structural design for industrial or semiconductor facilities.
• Ability to work under supervision, with occasional progress checks and final reviews.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to seek assistance when needed.
