Supplier & Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team. The role focuses on ensuring product quality across supplier and in‑house processes, including metal stamping, welding and assembly operations.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with customer‑specific requirements and automotive quality standards.
• Lead quality activities for manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding and assembly.
• Manage supplier quality performance through audits, evaluations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and PFMEA methods.
• Support APQP activities, PPAP submissions, control plans, FMEA development and process validations.
• Analyse quality metrics and implement actions to reduce defects, scrap and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with metal stamping, welding, body‑structure components or similar steel‑processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Experience in supplier quality development and supplier audits.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Background working with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
