Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that suppliers meet the highest quality standards and comply with specifications and regulatory requirements. The role is based in Colon, Mexico, and involves close collaboration with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for the plant on all purchased part quality issues.
• Manage and coordinate supplier quality incidents, ensuring timely response and containment.
• Track, validate, and recover costs related to supplier‑related quality incidents.
• Approve supplier concessions and oversee corrective actions using the 8D methodology.
• Support PPAP releases and ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication between suppliers, the plant, and internal customers to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency for meetings with international suppliers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced global environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge.
• Statistical analysis and reporting.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and quality documentation.
