Supplier Quality Manager (SCQM)

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Manager you will act as the main interface between Airbus Helicopters Mexico and its suppliers, ensuring that all contracted products and services meet the required quality, timing and cost standards. You will support the tendering process, oversee contract performance and drive continuous improvement across the supplier base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess suppliers during tendering and contribute to selection decisions.
• Manage contract performance focusing on on‑time delivery, quality compliance and cost targets.
• Coordinate supplier quality approvals and ensure compliance with required certifications.
• Monitor and support new product introductions to achieve industrial qualification before serial production.
• Evaluate supplier capability and capacity, identify risks and develop short‑term recovery plans.
• Lead supplier performance improvement projects and contribute to the annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED).
• Present supplier performance metrics at Multi‑functional Team (MFT) and Multi‑development Team (MDT) meetings.

Required profile

• Professional experience in supplier quality management or related supply chain functions.
• Strong understanding of contract management, quality assurance and supplier development.
• Ability to analyse performance data and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of supplier quality approval processes and certification requirements.
• Experience with KPI monitoring and supplier performance reporting.
