Supply Chain & Operations Rotational Associate

About the role

Johnson Controls offers a 2-year Supply Chain and Operations Rotational program for recent college graduates, designed to turn them into future leaders. It consists of four 6-month assignments across the company's operations, supply chain and procurement functions. Rotational assignments are spread across the country, and candidates must be willing to relocate every 6 months between manufacturing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Dive into data collection and analysis, and assist in supplier selection and evaluation.
• Support production scheduling, materials requirement planning and supplier coordination.
• Oversee daily production support through capacity management, scheduling analysis and cycle time optimization.
• Take part in lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain reports so materials are available to the manufacturing floor and implement inventory control to minimize waste.
• Learn the JCMS (Johnson Controls Manufacturing System) maturity model and help plants reach current and next-level targets.

Required profile

• Relevant internship experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, Logistics or Engineering (e.g. Industrial, Automation and/or Manufacturing).
• Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making and robust written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Production scheduling and materials requirement planning.
