Supply Planner – Inventory & Capacity Management

About the role

Hunter Douglas is seeking a proactive Supply Planner to manage supply requirements, inventory strategies, and capacity across its North American manufacturing sites in Mexico. Reporting to the Supply Planning Lead, you will provide strategic insights to close supply gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure high customer service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain supply plans for final assembly sites, aiming to reduce inventory and operating costs while maximizing service excellence.
• Set inventory targets and adjust tolerances to achieve desired service levels.
• Evaluate planning parameters such as lead times, work‑in‑progress exclusions, and minimum order quantities.
• Collaborate with Demand and Procurement teams to resolve forecast discrepancies and excess inventory issues.
• Lead initiatives across the product life‑cycle, including new product launches, ramp‑up, and end‑of‑life planning.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory, assess risks for discontinuations, and develop mitigation strategies.
