Supply Planner (Master Scheduler)

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Supply Planner who will act as the Master Scheduler for a line of business, ensuring effective scheduling and optimal use of production capacity. The role works closely with demand, engineering, product, and material teams to support customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the SIOP and supply plans, generating regular reports and tracking performance.
• Perform master scheduling and demand forecasting to align production with customer demand.
• Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and product teams to interpret requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
• Manage material planning, including long‑lead item forecasting, in partnership with engineering and procurement.
• Analyze inventory levels, create action plans to reduce excess, and support capacity allocation for new products.
• Utilize ERP systems for material and capacity planning, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, material planning, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of SIOP, supply planning, MRP, and master scheduling processes.
• Experience interacting with cross‑functional teams such as sales, manufacturing, engineering, and procurement.
• Ability to forecast long‑lead materials and develop inventory reduction strategies.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
