Tax Accountant – English Required

About the role

Aptar Group is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its Global Tax team in Querétaro, Mexico. Reporting to both the global tax team and the Mexico Controller, you will support local GAAP accounting and tax compliance for Mexican legal entities while collaborating with business units and shared services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit local and corporate tax reports.
• Support local GAAP accounting and post adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare or assist with BPC tax reporting and related schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Mexican GAAP, reducing tax risks.
• Coordinate local tax filings and work with external advisors when needed.
• Assist in local and corporate tax audits.
• Liaise with tax authorities to recover tax credit balances.
• Support the annual Transfer Pricing process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1 or higher).
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican GAAP.
• Experience using SAP.
