Technical Architect - Salesforce

About the role

Salesforce is hiring several Technical Architects for its Global Delivery Centre (GDC) team in Mexico City, working in a hybrid setting. The Technical Architect designs and leads the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for customers, covering Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development and integration/ETL technologies. The role is billed and involves travel to client sites, estimated at 50-75%.

Key responsibilities

• Work with client stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables, and set expectations
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using the Salesforce platform
• Lead technical design sessions, architect and document solutions, and identify gaps between current and desired states
• Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects and follow coding standards
• Lead code reviews and handle custom development, integrations and data migration
• Maintain a target billable utilization and debug issues deeply
• Occasionally take part in pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions and POC development, and liaise with Salesforce product teams

Required profile

• Strong CRM experience with a solid background on the Salesforce platform
• Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite (Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, Community Clouds)
• Active Salesforce certification or ability to obtain one after hire
• Experience evaluated against the core competencies of the role

• Systems architecture and scalable, performance-driven solutions
• Data sharing, visibility and authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
• Data integration tools (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting)
• Environment management, release management, code versioning and deployment
• Platform security (TLS, SSL)
• Large web-based systems design or full software product lifecycle exposure
