Technical Project Manager – Network Optimization

About the role

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead strategic transformation, productivity improvement, footprint development, and operational excellence initiatives across its global switchgear factory network. The role blends strong project‑management capabilities with Lean expertise to drive sustainable business improvements and support network growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic productivity, footprint development, industrialisation, and network optimisation projects.
• Drive Lean transformation initiatives and continuous‑improvement programmes across factories.
• Manage cross‑functional project teams to ensure delivery of objectives, timelines, and benefits.
• Conduct value‑stream mapping, operational assessments, and Kaizen workshops to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support capacity expansion, factory transfers, and growth‑readiness activities.
• Develop business cases, transformation road‑maps, and executive‑level reporting.
• Standardise best practices and operational‑excellence methodologies across the network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, project management or operational excellence.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional transformation projects.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred).
• Strong stakeholder‑management, communication and analytical abilities.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
