Technical Sales Executive – Bajío Region

About the role

Orbia Advance Corporation, a global company with operations in 41 countries and brands such as Netafim, Alphagary and Wavin, is hiring a Technical Sales Executive for the Bajío region. The role focuses on growing sales through new customer acquisition and managing the existing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales by prospecting and developing new clients.
• Manage retention, loyalty and upselling strategies for the existing portfolio.
• Maintain constant contact with clients, visiting them and following up weekly.
• Provide initial attention and support for client problems and requests.
• Prepare quotations and follow up commercial opportunities in a timely way.
• Manage and develop the assigned client portfolio and identify long-term business opportunities with key clients.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Agronomy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Commercial experience in the agricultural sector.
• Knowledge and experience of medium- and high-tech greenhouses and related companies, automation and protected agriculture technology.
• Availability to travel 3 to 4 days per week in the Bajío area.

Required skills

• Negotiation skills, results orientation and customer focus.
• English desirable; irrigation systems training desirable.
