Teleconsultation Aesthetic Doctor (International Patients)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Doctor or Plastic Surgeon to provide virtual consultations for international patients across the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Based in Pune, you will act as the primary clinical advisor for CureMeAbroad’s medical‑tourism platform, guiding patients from the first online visit through post‑procedure follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct teleconsultations with patients seeking cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
• Review medical histories, photographs, diagnostic reports and case files before each session.
• Assess suitability for surgical and non‑surgical treatments and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Explain expected outcomes, risks, recovery timelines and realistic expectations.
• Collaborate with international surgeons, hospital coordinators and patient‑care teams to design individualized pathways.
• Participate in pre‑operative counselling and post‑operative follow‑up via video calls.
• Escalate complex cases to specialist colleagues when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems in compliance with HIPAA and international privacy standards.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• 7‑8 years of clinical experience, including time in general practice, internal medicine or a related specialty.
• Demonstrated exposure to or strong interest in aesthetic medicine.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) with the ability to explain medical information clearly to non‑clinical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and international data‑privacy regulations.
• Experience using telemedicine platforms for remote patient assessment.
