About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead independent research programs in biomedical engineering.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
• Secure external research funding and manage research projects.
• Publish high‑impact scientific papers and present at international conferences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the university.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Medical Physics, Biomedical Image Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Robotics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of four years of post‑doctoral or equivalent research experience with a strong publication record.
• Demonstrated potential for high‑quality research and teaching.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Medical Imaging techniques (MRI, CT, PET, Radiotherapy).
• Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analytics.
• Development of wearable biomedical devices.
