Trade Business Manager – Out-Licensing (Mexico)

About the role

The Trade Business Manager (Out‑Licensing) for Mexico will lead strategic partnership initiatives, ensuring strong governance, alignment of objectives, and sustainable value creation for Viatris and its external partners. This role serves as the central point of contact for partnership management, driving performance, resolving issues, and fostering effective collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead governance of out‑licensing partnerships, establishing clear objectives, roles, and performance expectations.
• Act as primary liaison between Viatris and external partners, organizing performance reviews and joint business planning.
• Own full P&L for assigned partnerships, delivering revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive execution of commercial strategies with partners and support new product integration.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key external partners, aligning cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Supply, Finance, Legal).
• Proactively resolve operational, commercial, or contractual issues and manage risks to ensure business continuity.
• Establish and track KPIs, leading continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance collaboration and outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing strategic out‑licensing or partnership agreements.
• Full P&L accountability experience in a commercial or business development context.
• Strong governance and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Proven ability to drive commercial execution and growth with external partners.
• Effective risk management and issue‑resolution capabilities.
