Travel & Expenses Accountant (T&E & P‑Card Administrator)

About the role

The Travel & Expenses Accountant will manage Flowserve’s Travel & Expense (T&E) and Procurement Card (P‑Card) programs, ensuring smooth processing, compliance, and accurate financial reporting. This role serves as the primary contact for employees and stakeholders on all T&E and P‑Card matters.

Key responsibilities

• Administer day‑to‑day T&E and P‑Card operations, including Concur system setup and maintenance.
• Manage cardholder lifecycle: setup, changes, suspensions, and terminations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain program documentation, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, escalating when necessary.
• Handle internal traveler requests according to Service Level Agreements.
• Support month‑end close activities and ensure accurate ledger coding.
• Provide training to new joiners and associate‑level staff.
• Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, GAAP, SOX, and local regulations.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably with T&E and P‑Card reporting.
• Completed or ongoing studies in Economics, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Concur and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
