Urban Designer

About the role

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Urban Designer to lead and deliver integrated urban design projects from concept through completion. Based in our Mexico City office, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to shape livable, sustainable, and future‑ready cities across Latin America and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Lead urban design projects throughout their full lifecycle, coordinating tasks with support teams.
• Facilitate client meetings to present design concepts, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to achieve positive outcomes on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the Urban Design and Master Planning team on local and regional planning, strategic visioning, and design integration.
• Produce landscape architecture documents such as guidelines, palettes, and standards.
• Generate creative visioning ideas that leverage site‑specific advantages.
• Create high‑quality 3D renderings and sketches to clearly communicate design intent.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading urban design or architecture projects.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to convey complex design concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant urban design work, submitted in English (PDF, max 10 MB).
