U.S. Taxation Associate

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented U.S. Taxation Associate to support CPA firms with the preparation of individual and business tax returns. The role involves close collaboration with external CPA partners and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant tax work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare U.S. individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Develop tax workpapers and compile supporting documentation.
• Review client financial statements and accounting records for tax purposes.
• Assist with tax compliance, research, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with CPA firms to resolve tax‑related questions and obtain missing information.
• Ensure timely completion of engagements according to internal and client deadlines.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards across all tax deliverables.
• Support the team during peak tax season and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
• Hands‑on experience preparing U.S. tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation skills.
• Good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Tax preparation software such as Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries (or similar).
• Microsoft Excel.
• QuickBooks or other accounting software (preferred).
