UTV Refurbishment Technician

About the role

EquipmentShare is hiring a UTV Refurbishment Technician for its UTV refurbishment facility in Mexico City. The technician performs the complete teardown and reassembly of incoming UTVs to exact specifications, including staging parts, making mechanical and electrical repairs and operating the wash bay as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Tear down incoming UTVs, removing beds, cages, panels and components as needed, and stage and tag parts so they return to the correct unit.
• Reassemble units after refinishing, reinstall components, perform mechanical and electrical repairs and rebuild units to spec.
• Rotate into the wash bay to clean incoming or completed units, working around the teardown and reassembly workload rather than a fixed schedule.
• Move between stations according to daily workload and backlog.
• Follow facility safety procedures at every station and flag quality issues before a unit moves to the next stage.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior mechanical, small-engine, powersports, automotive or diesel equipment experience is a plus but not required if hands-on mechanical ability is demonstrated.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods in a shop environment and safely operate hand tools, power tools and shop equipment such as engine hoists, dollies and lift carts.
• Ability to handle repetitive assembly tasks with high precision and consistency.
