Vice President, Quality

About the role

The Vice President of Quality will lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Quality Culture, Strategy & Performance for the beer division. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees quality across the entire value chain—from suppliers to consumers—ensuring product excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an assurance program that prevents recalls and severe quality incidents for liquids and packaging.
• Drive end‑to‑end quality performance across breweries, raw material sourcing, laboratories, yeast management, and distribution.
• Lead quality and risk‑based surveillance for new product launches in partnership with R&D and Innovation teams.
• Oversee two direct reports: Sr. Director, Manufacturing Quality and Sr. Director, Market/Distribution Quality.
• Manage programs such as Consumer Care, Quality by Design, Profit of Quality, Food Safety systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, etc.), shelf‑life management, traceability, and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management, preferably in brewing or distilling.
• Proven people‑management track record with the ability to build high‑performing teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize resources, drive continuous improvement, and work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Brewing Science knowledge.
• Quality and Productivity Systems (Master’s preferred).
• Regulatory expertise in ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, C‑TPAT, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, FSMA.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), critical thinking, and advanced analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
