Wrapping Engineer

About the role

The Wrapping Engineer will support the introduction and hand‑over of new equipment to maintenance and production teams, ensuring all operating information is documented and understood. The role involves training personnel on advanced adhesive technologies and leading multidisciplinary problem‑solving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for new equipment and transfer knowledge to maintenance and production.
• Train support and maintenance teams on new technologies and adhesive applications.
• Document changes and improvements made by the controls team.
• Assist maintenance in troubleshooting equipment or welding failures and implement machine changes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams using methodologies such as 5 Whys, contrast testing, RedEx and Six Sigma.
• Enable and modify error‑proofing systems in‑process.
• Ensure compliance with Inteva safety regulations and complete monthly training on the Wombat platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Automotive, Chemical Engineering or related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong competencies in teamwork, time management, communication, leadership, decision‑making and company values.
• Experience reviewing EHS roles and responsibilities.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
• Knowledge of 2K adhesives (water‑based, solvent‑based, PUR, hot‑melt).
• Experience with automatic and manual adhesive application systems.
• Familiarity with machinery, tools and error‑proofing systems.
• Application of problem‑solving techniques (5 Whys, contrast testing, RedEx, Six Sigma).
