Air Specialist

About the role

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Air Specialist to coordinate and oversee import and export air shipments. The role ensures timely transit, accurate documentation, and high service levels while supporting the company's global logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end air shipments for import and export.
• Track cargo, communicate with airlines, freight agents, and customers.
• Review and validate documentation such as Air Waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Update shipment status in internal systems (TMS/ERP).
• Resolve operational incidents promptly.
• Ensure compliance with transit times and agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a freight forwarder or air logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of air import/export processes and basic customs regulations.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Familiarity with logistics software such as TMS or ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Handling of Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Use of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP platforms.
• English language proficiency.
