Clinical Nurse B – Inpatient Acute Rehab (Night Shift)

About the role

The Clinical Nurse B – Inpatient provides patient‑centered care on the acute rehabilitation unit during night shifts. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the RN coordinates and documents age‑specific, developmentally appropriate nursing interventions with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation) following LLUMC’s Professional Practice Model.
• Deliver direct and indirect care to patients in the acute rehab setting, ensuring quality and safety.
• Document patient care accurately and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Stay current with clinical knowledge, innovations, and best practices.

Required profile

• BSN degree (or Associate/Diploma if hired before 01‑04‑2020).
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently (Spanish preferred).
• Professional behavior and ability to work calmly under pressure.
