Controller – Finance & Accounting Lead

About the role

The Controller will safeguard the integrity of our financial operations by overseeing accounting, treasury, tax compliance, internal controls, and financial planning. You will provide strategic insights and partner with business units to drive efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance in line with GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including preparation of financial statements and tax filings.
• Oversee treasury activities: cash‑flow forecasting, payments, financing agreements and credit line negotiations.
• Optimize working capital through DPO/DSO management and cash utilization strategies.
• Coordinate tax planning, compliance and annual income‑tax statements.
• Maintain a robust internal‑control environment, support SOX compliance and assist internal and external audits.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial projections and budget‑to‑actual analysis.
• Deliver KPI analysis and financial insights to support growth strategies.
• Partner with sales and cross‑functional teams to support commercial objectives and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, treasury, tax compliance, budgeting and internal controls.
• Proven experience in multinational, matrix‑organized companies.
• Hands‑on experience with internal and external audits, including SOX environments.
• Track record of partnering with commercial teams to drive performance.
• Experience in manufacturing, technology, healthcare or shared‑services environments is a plus.
