About the role

The Engineering Project Coordinator will ensure successful execution of site capital investments from evaluation to project closure, aligning with Unilever’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards. This role drives operational excellence and value creation for the Tultitlán manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of CAPEX projects, meeting scope, cost, schedule, and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards and oversee construction safety.
• Apply the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS), focusing on EEM and EPM pillars.
• Plan and execute annual capital projects with budget control and on‑time, in‑full delivery.
• Manage budgets, purchase requests, technical specifications, and supplier coordination.
• Oversee construction management, contractor supervision, permits, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate change management, documentation, and project tracking.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global technical teams, as well as production and planning for shutdowns and installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience leading engineering or CAPEX projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of budget management and project governance.
• Understanding of Mexican safety regulations (NOM‑STPS).
• Advanced English proficiency.
