About the role
Apollo.io is looking for a Customer Advocate Manager to lead its global chat‑based sales assist team. You will drive revenue, ensure fast and accurate customer interactions, and create a world‑class buying experience for small‑business customers.
Key responsibilities
- Build, enable, and lead a global Customer Advocate team to meet revenue and online‑sales SLA targets.
- Hire, develop, and promote representatives, fostering clear career paths.
- Coach and provide ongoing feedback to improve process execution and skill development.
- Deliver product, pricing, and process expertise to the team.
- Identify upsell and usage‑expansion opportunities during customer conversations.
- Ensure clean handoffs to Support and Account Executives when needed.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a global chat or customer‑advocacy team.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and SLA targets.
- Strong hiring, development, and mentorship capabilities.
- Ability to coach teams on best practices and product knowledge.
