Director of Operations

About the role

InnoVent Renewables is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead daily production activities at its General Escobedo facility in Monterrey, Mexico. The role is on‑site, full‑time, and reports directly to senior leadership, ensuring the plant runs safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production, uptime, profitability, and safety across the chemical conversion plant.
• Manage supervisory and shift teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze key performance indicators and drive operational workflow optimization.
• Lead budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the facility.
• Implement sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in manufacturing and complex chemical facility operations.
• Experience managing supervisors and shift personnel in a production environment.
• Strong focus on efficiency, profitability, and safety.
• Familiarity with renewable energy or waste‑management sectors is a strong asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Mexican citizenship and residence in Monterrey or nearby areas.
