Junior Full-Stack Developer

About the role

AspenTech is seeking a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer to join an agile team building modern Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to create responsive, high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to turn mock‑ups into functional components.
• Implement and maintain REST and WebSocket APIs, integrating backend services with the front‑end.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write clean, reusable code following industry best practices and participate in code reviews.
• Develop testing infrastructure, write unit tests, and support test‑driven development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to learn quickly and research new solutions for product challenges.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• C++, Java, C#
• Experience with REST/WebSocket APIs
• Modern front‑end frameworks: VueJS, Angular, or React.js
• Familiarity with GWT, Tomcat, SOLR (a plus)
• gRPC for API integration (a plus)
• Browser debugging tools and performance optimization
• Source control systems: TFS, GitHub
• Unit testing frameworks and test‑driven development
• Figma (a plus)
