Junior Legal Officer – SOFOM (Compliance)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City. The Junior Legal Officer will support a SOFOM business by providing legal advice and ensuring compliance with the CNBV and Condusef regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research related to fintech and SOFOM regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and compliance reports.
• Maintain liaison with CNBV and Condusef regulators.
• Monitor adherence to local and international regulatory standards.
• Provide sound legal counsel to internal teams.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience providing legal advice to fintech or SOFOM entities.
• Demonstrated experience with CNBV and Condusef regulations.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City.
• Prior experience in regulatory compliance or consultancy for international business is beneficial.
