Logistics Coordinator (VIE)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join Valeo Light’s San Luis Potosí site for a 12‑month VIE assignment. You will support the optimisation of material flows across the plant and warehouses, contributing to the efficiency of our automotive lighting production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise physical flows, including material feeding to production lines and transfers between external warehouses and the site.
• Improve warehouse organisation, storage processes and logistics layouts to increase space utilisation.
• Deploy supply‑chain standards, methods and best practices across the site and with suppliers.
• Implement and refine shop‑floor scheduling to support production planning and execution.
• Optimise receiving, line feeding, packaging, labeling, storage and shipping processes.
• Drive automation and digitalisation initiatives to reduce manual calculations and spreadsheets.
• Define and standardise packaging and labeling specifications for components and finished goods.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects focused on flow efficiency, cost reduction and labour productivity.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience or academic projects in supply‑chain, logistics, production planning or continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
