Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the safety, quality, and reliability of production equipment and critical utilities in a manufacturing environment. You will perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance while supporting operators and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work orders for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and control systems.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments and electrical equipment (23 V‑110 V).
• Generate reports, file documentation, and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Assist production operators with equipment adjustments and resolve technical problems.
• Support capex projects and implement improvement ideas in manufacturing areas.
• Comply with corporate policies, safety standards, GMP, and the Integral Management System (SGI).

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in maintenance of production equipment and utilities.
• Technical background in mechanics, electronics, instrumentation, or automation.
• Ability to read manuals, procedures, and technical standards in Spanish and English.
• Strong teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• PLC programming and control system knowledge.
• Mechanic and instrumentation skills.
• Electrical troubleshooting (23 V‑110 V).
• Instrument calibration.
• Familiarity with SAP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
