Materials Planner

About the role

Dana, a global leader in driveline, sealing and thermal‑management technologies, is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for production across its worldwide network. The role focuses on coordinating with national and international suppliers, managing inventory levels, and complying with import policies.

Key responsibilities

• Track shipments, traffic, and receipt of materials to prevent delays.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and specifications with suppliers via phone, video call, or email.
• Collect, verify, and forward invoices and customs documentation to the Customs Broker for import clearance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date material requirements in the Oracle system to avoid shortages.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating material flow with domestic and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with import regulations and customs documentation.
• Ability to work closely with production planning to meet schedule demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for material planning.
