Operational Audit Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a licensed attorney with strong operational and process‑oriented experience to conduct a focused audit of our claims and administrative workflows. This remote, short‑term contract role blends legal expertise with business operations to identify bottlenecks and recommend scalable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit internal workflows and operational processes across claims handling.
• Identify inefficiencies, delays, and operational bottlenecks.
• Review department handoffs, accountability gaps, and reporting structures.
• Recommend workflow improvements and scalable operational solutions.
• Assist with SOP refinement and process standardization.
• Collaborate directly with leadership on operational improvements.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney (required).
• Strong analytical and operational mindset.
• Experience in legal operations, claims administration, or compliance‑heavy environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose organizational inefficiencies and execute practical solutions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or workflow management systems.
• Familiarity with operational reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Exposure to AI tools (preferred).
