Plant Controller – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations for our electronics manufacturing plant in Tepotzotlán, Mexico. Reporting to the NAFTA Financial Controller Sr. Manager, you will partner with plant leadership to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the plant.
• Monitor plant costs, inventory and production variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and corporate policies.
• Analyze operational results and support continuous‑improvement projects.
• Present financial data to plant leadership, corporate stakeholders and auditors.
• Support capital investment planning and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Lead the plant finance team and coordinate with HR/payroll as required.
• Develop and maintain robust ERP and reporting systems for plant operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• 5+ years experience in plant or manufacturing finance, preferably in electronics.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Leadership experience with ability to manage a finance team.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Budgeting and financial reporting.
