Python Engineer with GenAI and ML

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Python Engineer specialized in Generative AI and Machine Learning to join a global technology platform team. The role is full‑time (40 hours/week) and based in Mexico, focusing on building and enhancing AI agents and predictive models.

Key responsibilities

• Continue and improve the GenAI project, including cubes and alerts functionality.
• Develop a customer‑facing version of the GenAI product, enhancing end‑user experience.
• Design and build new tools and capabilities for the GenAI Agent.
• Drive migration from direct Claude API integration to a LangGraph‑based architecture.
• Train and deploy lightweight ML models for operational metric prediction.
• Integrate ML models into the GenAI Agent and expose them via REST APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions within the AWS Bedrock environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong focus on clean, maintainable Python code.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain and LangGraph for AI agent development.
• Practical knowledge of LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and GenAI product development.
• Experience training and deploying small‑to‑medium ML models for regression or prediction tasks.
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially AWS Bedrock or similar managed AI platforms.
• Understanding of REST API design and development.
• Ability to work independently, own features end‑to‑end, and communicate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
