Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs (Mexico)

About the role

Join the LEGO Group’s dynamic Government & Public Affairs team in Mexico as a Senior Manager. You will shape and execute the company’s engagement strategy with government partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and protecting the brand’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government engagement strategy for LEGO’s operations in Mexico.
• Manage day‑to‑day and strategic relationships with government partners, coordinating with local business units.
• Create and deliver advocacy plans that support LEGO’s policy goals.
• Monitor, analyse and communicate legislative and policy trends affecting the business, including environmental, labour, trade, production and logistics issues.
• Collaborate with internal functions across the Americas and other regions to craft policy messages and positions.
• Lead LEGO’s participation in trade associations, setting strategy and influencing industry issues.
• Independently drive large, cross‑functional projects with regional impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Government Relations, Political Science, Economics, Social Science or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in government relations within a legislative or executive body, trade association, or corporate setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Experience with manufacturing‑related policy issues is preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain high‑level relationships and navigate complex negotiations.
