Senior SAP Basis Expert – Landscape Management

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Expert to oversee, maintain, and optimise our SAP landscape across Development, QA, and Production environments. You will work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO across multiple landscapes.
• Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, patch management and system refreshes.
• Monitor and tune system performance, troubleshoot runtime issues, and manage SAP database environments (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Implement and maintain the SAP Transport Management System and ensure security compliance (roles, authorisations, SSL).
• Coordinate with cloud teams for SAP workloads on Azure, AWS or GCP and support hybrid integrations.
• Plan and execute disaster‑recovery drills, high‑availability setups and capacity planning.
• Document procedures, maintain operational run‑books and provide support during go‑lives and maintenance windows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on SAP Basis administration experience.
• Proven expertise with SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA and SAP HANA database.
• Strong knowledge of SAP landscape design, sizing and capacity planning.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, kernel patches, support packs and change‑control processes.
• Solid understanding of OS and database administration (Linux/Unix, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, English B2 level.
