Software Engineer – Java/Spring Boot & React

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join Ampcus Inc.’s remote team in Mexico. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java‑based backend services and React front‑ends to support the DPC product area. You will work closely with product managers and technical leads to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java/Spring Boot micro‑services and React/JavaScript user interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Maintain and optimise databases using Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate external APIs and automate data flows while ensuring security and performance.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and container orchestration (AKS).
• Familiarity with GitHub, ArgoCD, and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to work remotely within the shift of 8:30 AM PT – 5:00 PM PT.
