Software Engineer – Platform (AUTOSAR)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our automotive platform team in Queretaro, Mexico. The position focuses on developing AUTOSAR‑based components for an advanced driver assistance system that fuses data from ultrasonic sensors, analogue and digital cameras, and runs computer‑vision algorithms to improve vehicle safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate AUTOSAR application components and adapt third‑party software.
• Create detailed software design, unit‑test specifications, and test reports aligned with the software architecture.
• Write C code following coding guidelines and perform static analysis to ensure MISRA compliance.
• Execute unit tests, generate test reports, and manage code commits via CI, Gerrit, and version‑control tools.
• Maintain configuration‑management artifacts and update CoreALM tickets daily.
• Participate in peer reviews, technical audits, and project meetings to report progress.
• Support production software maintenance, including change requests, validation, and releases.
• Travel to the customer site as needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in embedded software development, preferably with C.
• Familiarity with automotive network interfaces such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR and AUTOSAR basic software (BSW) application layer.
