Tax Associate – Corporate Tax Compliance

About the role

Prologis is seeking a Tax Associate to ensure timely compliance with federal tax obligations, manage tax audits, and support tax planning initiatives. The role supervises junior tax staff and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold the company’s tax strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure accurate monthly tax prepayment submissions, including withholding tax on debt repayments and cash repatriations.
• Review and validate tax prepayment calculations with Tax Analysts and resolve related inquiries.
• Oversee payment of monthly, annual, and ad‑hoc federal taxes and analyze withholding tax obligations for foreign parties.
• Maintain compliance with FIBRA tax requirements and stay current on regulations such as Thin Capitalization and Interest Deduction Limits.
• Supervise preparation and review of annual tax returns and coordinate tax refund requests.
• Analyze official notices, lead audit documentation gathering, and maintain audit records until resolution.
• Perform detailed tax planning analysis, calculate annual tax provisions, and support year‑end financial close.
• Assist strategic initiatives like cash repatriation, dividend distributions, and refinancing.

Required profile

• Experience supervising junior tax staff (e.g., Tax Analysts).
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations.
