About the role
We are seeking a Technical Support Advisor to join Microsoft’s Customer Service & Support organization. In this role you will act as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring frontline engineers and delivery partners are technically ready and compliant with processes, ultimately driving superior customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Drive engineer readiness through skills‑gap analysis and product‑specific training.
- Conduct case reviews and customer wellness checks to ensure process compliance and resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor engineers to improve cross‑team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to self‑help resources and volume‑deflection initiatives by creating troubleshooting guides and identifying top pain points.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams to provide feedback for product and process improvements.
Required profile
- Service‑delivery focused subject‑matter expert with a strong track record in technical support.
- Ability to influence and coach support staff and managers.
- Growth mindset aligned with Microsoft’s values of respect, integrity, and accountability.
