Business Development Analyst – Mexico & Caribbean

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Business Development Analyst to drive commercial growth across Mexico and the Caribbean. You will work directly with senior management to expand partnerships, increase transaction volumes, and strengthen the company’s competitive position in the fintech and money‑transfer space.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, money‑transfer companies, agents, and billers in Mexico and the Caribbean.
• Manage and expand existing relationships, leading commercial negotiations to ensure deals are profitable and compliant.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and decision‑making.
• Develop business cases, forecasts, and performance reports backed by data‑driven analysis.
• Collaborate with product, operations, network operations, IT, and compliance teams to execute new initiatives.
• Track KPIs, drive performance, and meet revenue and transaction‑volume targets.
• Represent Ria at industry events, meetings, and partner presentations.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles.
• Background in money transfer, remittances, electronic payments, or fintech is preferred.
• Advanced English (spoken and written) and proven ability to exceed business targets.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with KPIs, dashboards, and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Solid understanding of commercial contracts, revenue models, and business economics.
• Results‑driven, strategic thinker with the ability to execute day‑to‑day tasks.
• Resilient, disciplined, and adaptable in a fast‑moving financial environment.
