Design Engineer II – 1st Shift (On‑site)

About the role

The Design Engineering team creates innovative, reliable aerospace component designs that meet safety, quality, ergonomics and productivity standards. This on‑site, first‑shift position supports manufacturing, quality and operations to deliver optimized solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design solutions for aircraft components following design manuals and best practices.
• Apply material knowledge to ensure safety, performance and reliability.
• Support manufacturing processes and align outputs with engineering specifications.
• Lead and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
• Propose corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely design outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in product design and development.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Proven experience creating 3D structural models with CATIA V5.
• Knowledge of GD&T for precise dimensioning and tolerance.
