Engineer – Turbine Manufacturing

About the role

Join Caterpillar’s global engineering team and help shape the future of turbine manufacturing. You will work on the production of high‑performance turbine components, ensuring they meet the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all technical aspects of production requirements, both internal and external.
• Ensure resources are available for the LWC team to manufacture products that exceed customer expectations.
• Resolve complex technical problems to maintain product compliance and demand fulfillment.
• Coordinate product transfers, new product introductions, configuration changes, and repair processes.
• Act as the primary liaison between Turbotec and Solar Turbines for all technical matters.

Required profile

• Completed engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• At least 1 year of experience handling parts and processes for turbine component fabrication.
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Mechanical metrology.
• Basic CNC machining (conventional and non‑conventional).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or PRO‑E.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T (desirable).
• Critical thinking for problem solving and decision making.
