Frontend Software Engineer (React.js, AWS)

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer with solid experience in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript to build intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces. The role is based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with a hybrid work model, and will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using React.js and Material UI (or similar libraries).
• Consume and integrate REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket APIs, contributing to API testing and validation.
• Ensure front‑end code follows best practices for structure, reusability, accessibility, and security (e.g., XSS, CSRF prevention).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, including unit tests with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with QA, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency.
• Assist with frontend monitoring, logging, and error tracking, and support basic API debugging.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and scalable UI designs.
• Familiarity with Material UI or similar component libraries.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
