Internal Auditor

About the role

Ford is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its transformation journey toward electric and digital leadership. You will act as a business partner, applying risk‑based audit methodology to evaluate processes, controls, and governance across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute risk‑based audits from planning through reporting, including testing and documentation.
• Communicate audit findings to senior management both orally and in written reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess processes, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Lead a small agile audit team, guiding planning, work‑paper reviews, and report preparation.
• Utilize analytical tools to quantify risks and focus testing on critical areas.
• Support Internal Audit strategic initiatives and travel to audit sites as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for global communication.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and business‑acumen abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar environments and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Business Intelligence and data‑analytics tools: Alteryx, PowerBI, Qlik.
