Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the continuous operation of production machinery, building installations, and auxiliary systems. The role involves preventive and corrective work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work orders across production areas and support zones, following safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventories and generate requisitions for needed components.
• Perform routine inspections, measurements, and log entries to predict failures and minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, air compressors, dryers, extractors, HVAC, lighting, gas, sewerage, and building structures.
• Apply LOTO protocols, work at heights, and follow 5S cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical equipment and building systems.
• Technical education as an electromechanical, mechanical, or electrical technician, or a related engineering program.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plant layout drawings.
• Self‑directed, organized, and able to work under pressure while meeting objectives.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage installation knowledge.
• Management of CNC equipment.
• Electrical control expertise, including reading electronic schematics.
• PLC installation and programming.
• Use of electrical and mechanical measurement tools.
• Failure analysis and corrective troubleshooting.
