Methods Engineer

About the role

The Methods Engineer will coordinate and execute engineering activities at the plant level, ensuring that work methods, equipment, and tooling are ready for flawless execution in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. This role supports the planning, launch, and engineering change phases for manufacturing programs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate activities based on the plan developed by the Project Leader (Car Leader) to achieve program objectives in each build phase.
• Analyze engineering change proposals and notify the impact on equipment and tooling to the Project Leader and Product Engineering.
• Develop methods, work instructions, and visual aids for manufacturing processes to ensure quality, output, and efficiency.
• Design manufacturing systems for each harness family within the assigned program, ensuring quality, output, and efficiency.
• Ensure necessary machinery and equipment are delivered and installed to meet required process capacity.
