Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator will oversee the planning and execution of manufacturing activities at Lear Corporation’s facility in Matamoros, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan the work calendar based on client requirements, raw material availability, and new product launches.
• Optimize the use of human, material, and financial resources in line with company policies, standards, and technology.
• Reduce and control waste throughout the production processes.
• Schedule departmental activities according to the production plan to ensure on‑time delivery of finished goods.
• Prepare and present reports on production times, labor hours, permits, and absenteeism to senior management.
• Support internal and external audits for IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO9001, SOX, and CTPAT.

Required profile

• Industrial Engineering degree or a related field.
• Minimum 2‑3 years experience as a Production Supervisor in the automotive sector (harnesses).
• Proven ability to plan, organize, integrate, direct, and control production operations while maintaining productivity, quality, and a positive work environment.
