Procurement Analyst (Buyer)

About the role

The Procurement Analyst (Buyer) is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for goods and services that support plant operations, maintenance, and improvement. The role ensures cost‑effective procurement while maintaining high service quality and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for facility‑related categories and develop procurement strategies.
• Run RFQs/RFPs, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, SLAs, and contract terms.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal standards and company policies.
• Monitor contract performance, manage renewals, and conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and resolve escalations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, track procurement budgets, and analyze spend data and trends.
• Understand internal stakeholder needs and translate them into procurement strategies.
• Ensure vendors meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards and mitigate procurement risks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing.
• Professional degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering with a procurement specialization.
• Fluent business English.
• Advanced negotiation skills for pricing, SLAs, and contract terms.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and evaluating supplier proposals.
• Strong spend‑analysis capability to identify savings and build category strategies.
