Project Financial Analyst

About the role

The Project Financial Analyst (Engagement Financial Advisor) supports project leadership in managing revenue, margins and delivery costs to ensure overall engagement profitability. The role is based in Queretaro, Mexico and works within Deloitte's Global Finance Services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with client policies and internal financial controls.
• Perform internal financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and cost‑variance analysis.
• Manage project billing, invoicing and receivables processes.
• Monitor project performance, develop key performance indicators and identify improvement areas.
• Communicate regularly with project teams, finance departments and other stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with other Engagement Financial Advisors across the practice and with Deloitte teams in the United States.

Required profile

• Completed a relevant degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with financial data.
• Effective communication skills to interact with diverse project stakeholders.
